Sri Velmurugan Modern Rice Mill was founded in 1960 by Mr. K.L. Ganeshan. Few years before, Mr. K.L. Ganeshan who was working as the staff in other rice mills, discovered a big problem in meeting the need of good quality to the current marketing demand on that time.
Mr. K.L. Ganeshan later initiated a plan to create his own modern rice mill which is not only providing 100 bags of rice daily, but also at an affordable price as well! Through his hard work and dedicated staff, he has now expanded to 4 branches within the same district.
